Alcalá de Henares is the third most populated town in the Community of Madrid. It is the city of three cultures – Muslim, Christian and Jewish – as well as the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes. Alcalá de Henares, with a legacy dating back more than two thousand years, is a cultural and tourist center. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998, Alcalá de Henares will be the official venue of MADCUP 2021.
