MADCUP BASKET ELITE
MADCUP is an educational, formative, and sports project that aims to teach core values to the new generations through the practice of sports and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
The basketball competition, MADCUP BASKET, is the result of the successful
organization of three editions of the international youth football tournament. These first three editions, had more than 1,700 teams participating from 34 countries, involving a total of 27,500 players.
MADCUP BASKET ELITE is a U16 boys’ tournament in which seven of the best Spanish clubs and one great international club participate. The tournament will be held in the city of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), declared World Heritage City by UNESCO in 1998.

The competition will start with a group phase with 2 groups of four teams each. The 3rd and 4th classified teams of each group will play the placement matches to determine the 5th – 8th ranking. The first two classified teams in the group phase will compete in the semifinals. The finals will take place on Sunday, with a trophy ceremony and other activities.
All the teams play a minimum of 4 matches.
